Does conditioner make fine hair flat?
It does when it is applied at the roots or built on heavy oils and silicones. Bloom Balm is formulated without silicones, using Chanterelle mushroom extract, nettle leaf extract and Zinc PCA to condition without a heavy coating.
How do you use a volumizing conditioner?
Apply from the mid lengths to the ends after shampooing, then rinse thoroughly. Keep it off the scalp. Rinsing well matters as much as where you apply it.
Can you use conditioner every wash with fine hair?
Yes, as long as it stays on the mid lengths and ends. Fine hair still needs slip and moisture at the ends to avoid breakage when brushing. What causes flatness is placement and product weight, not frequency.
Do you need the matching shampoo?
Not strictly, but the pair is designed to work together: the shampoo clears what weighs hair down, the conditioner adds slip without rebuilding weight. They are also available together as a set.
